SCHOOL’S OUT CAMP AT LAKOTA YMCA 

The Lakota YMCA offers childcare on most of the days that Lakota schools are closed. The camps are held at the Lakota YMCA. School’s Out Camp for the 2012- 2013 school year is available in the Program Brochure.  Lakota YMCA does not offer camp on inclement weather days when the Lakota School District is closed.

 School’s Out Camp runs from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Lakota YMCA on Yankee road. Campers are offered a wide variety of age appropriate activities throughout their day. Activities include arts & crafts, science & nature, group games, board games, swimming, and an age appropriate movie. The cost of the camps vary check the childcare web page for details.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

 7:00-9:15 am           Free choice time includes: board games, arts & crafts and gym

 9:15 - 9:45 am         Wash hands & breakfast snack

 9:45 -10:15 am        Group game in gym or outside

10:15 -12:30 pm       Swimming (Children are divided into groups)

12:30 -1:00 pm         Lunch

 1:00 -1:30 pm          Group game

 1:30 -3:00 pm          Movie

 3:00 -3:30 pm          Afternoon snack

 3:30 - 5:00 pm         Game room, indoor/outdoor play land & arts & crafts

 5:00 - 6:00 pm         Gym and dismissal
